SAS Developer, Risk Management Development

In a rapidly changing world, understanding data is the key to any successful business. We at OP Financial Group utilize one of Finland's largest data capacities to better understand and serve our customers. We are now looking for a SAS Developer in our Credit Risk Management Area.
 
About the role
 
You will be responsible of technical development of our payment behavior database. You ensure that development meets the architectural and non-functional requirements. 

Working day will include one or more of activities such as develop and maintain SAS DIS jobs to extract, transform and load data from various sources.

You’ll create and optimize SAS processes, SAS DIS jobs and workflows to ensure efficient data processing and analysis. role includes support SAS application deployments, monitoring as well as maintenance activities. You’ll perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of results. Additionally, you will take part in testing and documentation of the product. 

The role and its emphasis can be adapted by your personal interests and skills.
 
What we hope you have 
 
To succeed in this role, you need to have at least a few years of experience in SAS development by SAS DIS. You are familiar with data management concepts, data warehousing, and data integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex data sets and deliver accurate results. in the role is needed detail-oriented, organized, and have good collaboration skills as well as a willingness to share your knowledge and expertise with others.

We use Agile and DevOps, so we hope that you are familiar with modern software development methods & tools and have an agile mindset. You possibly have knowledge of test and release automation methods and monitoring tools. History in using version control systems, especially Git is preferred. 
 
We value self-direction, solution-oriented working style, and a willingness to proactively take responsibility. In work-related matters, you communicate fluently in English, and Finnish skill is a plus.
