The application period for 2024 summer jobs has ended.

Degrees from universities of applied sciences or universities are suitable educational backgrounds for our summer jobs. Our summer workers can be first-year students or those who are finishing their degrees or have just graduated, and we do not require previous work experience in the financial sector; the most important thing is that you are interested in the field and want to learn something new. Most of the available summer jobs require Finnish skills, yet there are some examples that do not. However, we hope that you communicate fluently in English. 

We are looking for summer workers for a variety of positions to work at OP Financial Group’s Development and Technologies organization. Development and Technologies develops services and systems for other segments within OP Financial Group and for OP Financial Group's customers. As a Data Engineer trainee you will work in the OP Data Platform team. The team is creating a cloud-based data platform and all OP’s data products will eventually be built on top of this platform. In a role of Data Scientist you get to work with some of the latest technologies in AI/Data Science and apply them to solve tangible real-world problems. We are also seeking Developers to work together with our experienced developers, participating in different stages of software development.  

In addition, we are hiring summer trainees to work at OP Corporate Bank in Helsinki. The duties include a variety of specialist and development tasks of Corporate Banking’s products and business, professional solutions tasks, as well as middle office tasks in the fields of corporate funding and risk management. Please note that we require programming skills in the middle office and risk management tasks. 

According to the standard industry practice, we expect all our summer workers to be of over age of 18 years old.
